Suits and sport coats, trousers and shirts, dresses and gowns, and the wedding party in full. Alterations for the garment that almost fits, and custom work built from cloth for the one that does not exist yet. Zippers, buttons, linings and repairs for the pieces worth keeping.
A neighbourhood shop that has stayed on one street since 1998 cannot hide from the work it does. That is the point. The people who bring us a jacket this year brought us one last year, and the hem you pick up on Kirby Drive was sewn on Kirby Drive.
